The Benefits of Oregano

Oregano (Scientific name: Origanum vulgare) is also known as Wild Marjoram, Mountain Mint, Origanum, Wintersweet and Winter Marjoram.

A picture began circulating in November. It should be "The Picture of the Year," or perhaps, "Picture of the Decade." It won't be. In fact, unless you obtained a copy of the paper, you probably will never see it.

Tracey Connelley, Baby P's Evil Mom, Shows NO Remorse

I have never been affected by any story as much as Baby P's story has affected me. Yesterday evening, I found myself sobbing twice! I just can't get over the sheer horror of the story.

Baby P's Murderers -- Why Are They Being Protected?

In my country, it has never happened before that the media and the people have been forbidden to actually reveal the names and faces of TC and SB, the murderers of Baby P.

That Winter The Wind Blows Finale: Did Oh Soo Die?

Over the holy week break, I spent the entire four days just watching the 15 episodes of this Korean show. Yes, I am a self-confessed Korean drama addict. I already have my favorite actors and actresses; albeit, I don’t know their names.

Aling Dionisia or Katrina Halili

This is a survey in Facebook. After I voted for Aling Dionisia, I saw the results and obviously more people thought that she is hotter than Katrina Halili! Hah! The 9 people who voted for Halili must have 300/300 vision. :)

Reminiscing Dawson's Creek

I was a die-hard Dawson's Creek fan. When I was back in college, I would rush from school just to watch the last 30 minutes of the show. After the third season, however, I just stopped watching the show. It was too painful to watch. Don't ask why. Anyway, I decided to watch the show's finale. This is my favorite part.

After the second season, I stopped rooting for Dawson. I was Pacey all the way! :)

And here is a great montage - for all of Joey and Pacey fans!

I kept looking for Mary Beth Maziarz mp3s and albums, but I can't find them. :(

Hayden Kho - Can We Please Say, "Next!"

My reaction about all the Hayden Kho's controversy?

"Let him who is without sin cast the first stone?"

I felt the outrage when I first saw the videos - yes, like every other curious citizen of the republic, I actually bothered to search for the videos. I was able to watch the Maricar videos while it was still up in YouTube. Needless to say, I was thoroughly disgusted with what he did. I insisted that Erbe erased the video from his cellphone - well, he did erase his copies, but he took his sweet time doing so. He liked the Maricar Reyes' video. The pervert. He even took the time to analyze the anatomy of Maricar Reyes. Men! I had to remind him that he has a daughter.

Anyway, I'm tired of watching Hayden's face every night. Why the heck did the Senate even bother to investigate? They have better things to do. Just leave it all up to the courts of law for god sakes!

I am also tired of Lolit Solis' face on television. The nerve of that woman! As if she hasn't done horrible things in her lifetime as well. Hasn't she been involved in countless scandals and controversies herself?

I am not defending Hayden Kho. He is sick and he needs help. He needs to face up to the consequences of his actions. But I just feel that it's time for all of us to shout, "Okay, NEXT!"

We all sin, and I wonder why everyone feels fucking above reproach. We are taking our time passing judgment and pointing our fingers at him. All of us have our own dark secrets, our fetishes, our dark moments. Too bad for him, his have just been revealed to the world. We have to recognize the dark side of our humanity too and stop with all this garbage. Let him pay for his fucked up actions and let's get on with our lives!

I've been so busy. I don't have time to blog. I am so loaded with a lot of work and I am trying to meet deadlines, but I just had to write about this.

On a lighter note, I am glad I finally bought a good wrist support. I am already suffering from symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. *sigh*

God! Sometimes, I am so freaking tired of talking about this kind of crap. Sometimes, I am tired of blogging. I have to remind myself though -- this is all for Paige.

HOW TO TICK PEOPLE OFF

1. Leave the copy machine set to reduce 200%, extra dark, 17 inch paper, 99 copies.

2. In the memo field of all your checks, write "for sexual favors."

3. Specify that your drive-through order is "TO-GO."

4. If you have a glass eye, tap on it occasionally with your pen while talking to others.

5. Stomp on little plastic ketchup packets.

6. Insist on keeping your car windshield wipers running in all weather conditions "to keep them tuned up."

7. Reply to everything someone says with "that's what you think."

8. Practice making fax and modem noises.

9. Highlight irrelevant information in scientific papers and "cc" them to your boss.

10. Make beeping noises when a large person backs up.

11. Finish all your sentences with the words "in accordance with prophesy."

12. Signal that a conversation is over by clamping your hands over your ears and
grimacing.

13. Disassemble your pen and "accidentally" flip the ink cartridge across the room.

14. Holler random numbers while someone is counting.

15. Adjust the tint on your TV so that all the people are green, and insist to others that you "like it that way."

16. Staple pages in the middle of the page.

17. Publicly investigate just how slowly you can make a croaking noise.

18. Honk and wave to strangers.

19. Decline to be seated at a restaurant, and simply eat their complimentary mints at the cash register.

20. TYPE IN UPPERCASE.

21. type only in lowercase.

22. dont use any punctuation either

23. Buy a large quantity of orange traffic cones and reroute whole streets.

24. Repeat the following conversation a dozen times.

"DO YOU HEAR THAT?"
"What?"
"Never mind, it's gone now."

25. As much as possible, skip rather than walk.

26. Try playing the William Tell Overture by tapping on the bottom of your chin. When nearly done, announce "No, wait, I messed it up," and repeat.

27. Ask people what gender they are.

28. While making presentations, occasionally bob your head like a parakeet.

29. Sit in your front yard pointing a hair dryer at passing cars to see if they slow down.

30. Sing along at the opera.

31. Go to a poetry recital and ask why each poem doesn't rhyme.

32. Ask your co-workers mysterious questions and then scribble their answers in a notebook. Mutter something about "psychological profiles."

Note to God by Charice Videos and Lyrics

Note to God lyrics - Charice

If I wrote a note to God
I would speak whats in my soul
I’d ask for all the hate to be swept away,
For love to overflow
If I wrote a note to God
I’d pour my heart out on each page
I’d ask for war to end
For peace to mend this world
I’d say, I’d say, I’d say

Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven’t got a clue
Need some help from you
Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong
On this road we’re on

If I wrote a note to God
I would say what on my mind
I’d ask for wisdom to let compassion rule this world
Until these times
If I wrote a note to God
I’d say please help us find our way
End all the bitterness, put some tenderness in our hearts
And I’d say, I’d say, I’d say

Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven’t got a clue
Need some help from you
Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong
On this road we’re on

No, no no no
We can’t do this on our own
So

Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven’t got a clue
Need some help from you
Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong
On this road we’re on

If I wrote a note to God

Googling the Past - Is It Worth It?

It’s surprising why many people consider that their happiness lie on their past. Seriously, why do some people dwell on their past? Why do people never forget someone from their past? The other day, I emailed one of my best friends to ask her if she has been reading my blog. I have this faithful reader from a particular country and I thought it was her. Well, she adamantly denied reading my blog. I should be offended but her reaction amused me because I’ve learned something from her – I discovered that my reader could be someone from the past just checking up on me. It got me thinking why people bother to check up on their past loves?

I’ve read somewhere that we never actually forget our first love, our young love. The power it has over us is often unique. Experiencing such strong emotions for the first time triggers a strong sense of self and acceptance. Often, it creates a tremendously strong bond.

Later, after many changes have occurred in our lives, we will find ourselves mulling over our choices. We find ourselves trying to work through regrets and remorse. We find ourselves accepting our choices. This is often accompanied by this strong yearning of wanting to go back. This ultimately triggers interest on people who were closest to us during those times when we could still have made different choices in life. Most people would eventually have closure and move on, but there are some who will constantly look for closure. These people can only have this by revisiting their past.

The Internet has made it so easy to “google” a former flame. There are no shortages of ways we can check up on someone. We can always start with googling someone’s name. Unless the person you are looking for is living under a rock, it’s almost impossible not to find the person. If he or she is in some social networking site, or if he or she blogs, you’ll find all the juicy details you’re dying to know.

Now, that’s where the tricky part comes in. You gave in to the lure of Google. Now, the question is, should you actually get in touch with the person? Are there potential consequences? Is it risky? Are the risks worth the closure you seek? In truth finding that closure can be dangerous. It’s not often you could come out unscathed of the encounter, claiming that all well that end’s well.

My Love Story

There are love stories, but there are love stories.
The latter kind makes a mark. They’re the kind of stories that are written in books and made into movies. They’re the kind of stories that make you cry because often, these kinds of stories are heartbreaking.

That’s my story.

It’s the story I have been living for the last five years.
And every year and tear has been worth it.

Oh, I find myself wishing sometimes that things aren’t that difficult.
I find myself wondering how things would have been if I chose my path differently – or if I chose to love another.
But at the end of the day, I know that I choose this life.
I choose this love.

It’s not easy.
It takes an ocean-full of commitment.
It takes a lot of faith – an unwavering one.
It takes a lot of courage.

But it is worth it.
It truly, truly is worth it.

I just saw this video and I was moved.

I could relate to it. I know how much courage one has to have in order to make the choice that she had - that I had, in a way. I also know how fulfilling it is.

Love. Ultimately, that's the culprit. It's the same reason why I hold on and why I don't give up. It's not my love for him really. It's his love for me. It's a selfish reason, truth be told, but it's powerful.

FYI

I am going to change blog address. I am tired of this blog. I am still going to keep this though and post stuffs just so this will still keep earning money, but I am going to transfer to another blog address. Erbe is convincing me otherwise but I want to. Anyway, I have the blog already. I am still fixing it though. It's going to be a reader by invitation only. I am so tired of having "unwanted readers". I'd rather have a total stranger reading my blog than these distasteful readers.

If I don't find a good template for the other blog though, I may stick with this one. Oh, well.

UPDATE: Decided not to. I'm not so pissed off anymore; although, I already have one up eagerly waiting for my change of heart. :)

Can't Get Enough

I Forget Myself Sometimes

Paige needed some new pairs of shoes, so I decided to bring her to LCC for a quick shopping trip. I didn't know that Jody Sta Maria was going to be there. Anyway, she's really gorgeous in person - I mean, really, really gorgeous. We kind of did the jologs thing for about 5 minutes or so and then I realized what I was doing and promptly left. Anyway, here's the proof of my ka-jologsan. :)

The House and the Hills

BEVERLY HILLS, CA - MARCH 21: (L-R) Reality s...Image by Getty Images via Daylife

Just wondering...

Why was House brought to a psychiatric hospital? I thought a rehab facility would have been more appropriate.

The Hills casts are lousy actors. Audriana Patridge is the lousiest of them all. She is a half-wit who can't even muster an inch of enthusiasm or animation on her face.I can't stand to look at Heidi Montag. Spencer is a douche. The only decent actress is Lauren Conrad. Now, why the hell am I watching this effing show?
